Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar Zoom courses.

 

I am Victoria Carlton, a fully accredited trainer in Jolly Learning workshops. I am offering the following workshops conducted via ZOOM.

 

Jolly Phonics       Friday, 14th June        9 am to 3 pm (Melbourne/Sydney time)

                                                                          7 am to 1 pm (Perth/Singapore time)

 

Jolly Grammar   Friday, 21st June          9 am to 3 pm (Melbourne/Sydney time)

                                                                          7 am to 1 pm (Perth/Singapore time)

My point of difference is that my workshops go beyond the basic training and include additional materials, games, and practical advice on how to deliver the program in the classroom.

 

Optional follow-up sessions can be arranged if required and I am happy to answer emails from the attendees on any particular issues they encounter.

 

All my workshops are based on my own practical experience of delivering the programs in the classroom and with children who have special needs.

JOLLY GRAMMAR

 

A multisensory literacy program that teaches:

• Grammar

• Punctuation

• Phonics

• Spelling 

 

The program applies to children from 7-12 years (and beyond for children with learning difficulties.) The children learn a unique combination of movements and colours to help them understand the essential elements of grammar. This means they learn the “nuts and bolts” of writing easily and naturally. They learn how to incorporate this knowledge into their oral language and writing skills.

 

JOLLY GRAMMAR fits within the national curriculum guidelines and will promote much higher literacy standards for all your students.

 

*** This course teaches the content of JOLLY GRAMMAR 1, 2, and 3 and explores practical ways to help all students understand and apply this knowledge to their speaking and writing.

 

By attending this thought-provoking and practical seminar, teachers will learn:

• Why this approach is so effective.

• Multisensory methods to introduce spelling and grammar concepts.

• Which grammatical structures to introduce and a suggested order, signs, colours and games.

• Practical, enjoyable and structured strategies to improve spelling skills, grammar and oral and written expression.
